Nevada Becomes Make-or-Break State for Certain Presidential Candidates, Yet Not One in the Field Champions Immigration Reform to Win It

Latino, Asian Voters in State Have Yet to Hear Candidates Support Path to Citizenship or Any Solution for 11 Million Undocumented Immigrants

Las Vegas, NV—Many presidential candidates trailing behind in national polls are looking to Nevada as their make-or-break state for the early primary and caucus run. Last week, Sen. Marco Rubio spent several days in the Silver State, and this week, Former Gov. Jeb Bush is attempting to make inroads with many of the same voters, especially those from the state’s growing Latino, Asian, and immigrant communities.

Latino, Asian, and community leaders, along with select elected officials, will be host a press conference Wednesday at 12:30pm in Las Vegas to lay out exactly what Latino and Asian voters expect to hear from candidates who want their vote.
