In the Courts and at the Ballot Box, Latino, Asian American and Immigrant Families Determined to Win Big on Immigration in 2016

Dozens of Immigrant Rights Groups, Allies to Hold Press Conferences, Rallies, and Vigils in 35+ Cities Taking Immigration Fight to Supreme Court, Warning Anti-Immigrant Politicians Their Days Are Numbered

WASHINGTON - Exactly one year after President Obama announced executive actions on immigration that would protect millions from deportation, immigrant advocates and allies from California to North Carolina will hold public events, rallies, press conferences, vigils, and direct actions to fight for immigration relief for their families and urge the Supreme Court to take up the Texas v United States lawsuit that anti-immigrant politicians have used to block deferred action.

With the Obama administration appealing the lawsuit to the Supreme Court, immigrant workers and families see a clear path forward and will gather across the country to press the court to take up this case and call out the anti-immigrant Republican politicians standing in the way of relief for their communities.

Over the past year, immigrant families never lost hope - continuing to organize, mobilize, and educate their communities – and tomorrow they’ll once again take to the streets to push back against anti-immigrant politicians and take the fate of immigration reform and relief into their own hands.
