Immigration Power 2016 is right around the corner! Join more than 200 leaders, organizers, communicators, and policy experts from across the immigrant rights movement for a convening in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 10th-12th, 2015. Immigration Power 2016 will bring together local, state, and national voices to focus our work to build power and define the immigration issue in the 2016 election and beyond. Our big-picture goals for this convening are to:
- - Unify our movement, connect leaders, organizers, communicators and policy staff from key states and collectively develop a strategy to reach and turn out record numbers of Latino, Asian American and immigrant voters during the 2016 electoral cycle.
- - Share organizing and civic engagement plans, identify intersections & gaps, explore how to holistically work together to build immigration power.
- - Drive immigration reform as the defining issue that motivates Latino, Asian American and immigrant voters in 2016.
- - Define policy, political, and organizing strategies to create the next opportunity for passing immigration reform with a path to citizenship.
